Well I'm back! I've started making new signatures but most importantly I've started created a lot of stuff with my tablet. (Wacom Intuos 5 Small) I've been looking through some of the better artists work here in dA for my inspiration and they have all helped me in some way shape of form so far.

This is a very nice piece with nicely done effect. However, I believe your biggest problem lies in those nicely done effects. While they have decent flow and depth, they just don't fit with the overall piece as it is. When I look at this piece i feel cluttered, like there's too much going on. This bugs me even more due to the fact that there is actually very little going on in general. I can't fully explain why it comes off like that but it does. The other big problem here has to do with lighting, which is kinda sad seeing as how excellent you usually are with that part. I think what kills your lighting is the white BG, Though I can't for the life of me come up with a better color idea that would work. This white BG also kinda hurts your depth, which, due to the overwhelming brightness of it, just makes it seem blurry in spots and not very deep. I do like this piece a lot, despite these things. It has wonderful colors and clarity and the effects really are well done. On a side note, I am not too sure about the text. I kinda wanna say it is too far away but the fact it is so small makes me feel like it is fine the way it is. That could just be me though.
